Sleek and Simple Web Button Pack [Freebie]

Hello everyone, today we would like to share Sleek and Simple Web buttons using jQuery. You can use these buttons in your website by just adding a simple single line of code and you are done! For this freebie we have used WooFunction icon set released under the GNU General Public License.

First of all lets add a simple line of jQuery :

$('.btn').append($('').addClass('helper'));

This means that we will create a new ‘span’ element which is the holder for the button icon.

If, for example, you want to add the ‘Chart’ button you need to add markup to your website:

<a href="#">Chart</a>/1<a href="#">Search</a>

In the CSS you can change the looks by, for example, changing the background color:

.btn.green { background:#2DA10C;}

and markup will be:

<a href="#">Search</a>

etc. :)

We hope you like this experiment.

  1. I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one today.

  2. Virtually all of what you articulate is astonishingly precise and it makes me ponder the reason why I had not looked at this with this light previously. This piece really did turn the light on for me as far as this specific issue goes. But at this time there is just one position I am not really too comfy with so whilst I attempt to reconcile that with the main theme of the issue, allow me see exactly what the rest of the visitors have to point out.Well done.

  3. Hey this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  4. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your content seem to be running off the screen in Firefox. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The style and design look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Cheers
